The Eksper sales personnel have started using tablet computers to provide better services to customers out in the field.
The use of tablet computers will enable more productive work in terms of introducing our products, services and pricing to customers through digital catalogues and demo videos and obtaining sale reports instantly.
Also it will be possible to receive the customer’s signature and approval instantly on the screen, to start the delivery plan at the same time and respond to the customer immediately without needing to obtain an approval for budget use formulas.
The 29th International Mengen Cuisine and Tourism Festival took place on September 28-29, 2013. Experienced chefs and masters from the four corners of Turkey who came to the festival created a large group along with students from the culinary schools of the Mengen region.
In the Mengen Festival, sponsored by TADEF’s main sponsor Eksper Gıda, at stands reserved for companies providing services in the out-of-home consumption sector, samplings were served and companies were able to introduce their products. Chefs also added color to the festivities with vegetable and ice carvings. The festival, which was greeted with great enthusiasm by the local community, also included the service of pilaf with meat for two thousand people. A local dishes competition was also organized among the women of Mengen.
The Festival continued with a variety of activities on September 29. The panel titled “Mengen from Past to Present” organized at the Mengen Tourism Vocational School, was attended by chefs who had been in the profession for a number of years and emphasized the importance of cooperating to organize expansive events.

Ülker Eksper Gıda held its launch of new products at the EDT Expo. The Out-Of-Home Consumption Products Fair organized on March 28-31 at the CNR EXPO in Istanbul united the whole sector.
The EDT EXPO, a project planned through the cooperation of the Out-Of-Home Consumption Suppliers Association, was held at the Istanbul EDT EXPO on March 28-31, 2013. The EDT EXPO, which will become the most comprehensive fair in Eurasia with everything from foods and beverages to baking products, cleaning and hygiene products, tabletop products, from professional kitchen equipment to industrial cleaning products, from chef’s materials and equipment to single use products; included a wide variety of products for visitors to see.
Ülker Eksper participated in the EDT Expo, the first out-of-home consumption products fair in the sector, with a special stand and a variety of delicious products. Eksper Gıda’s stand, where all of the flavors in its portfolio were presented, was also the venue to launch a number of new products. Products like Bizim Simit Yağı, Bizim Kruvasan Yağı, Bizim Tereyağlı Margarin, Bizim Mutfak Remoulade Sos, which were made prominent with the theme of “Firsts in Turkey” were on display for professionals along with a number of other new products.
Eksper Gıda was also involved in the organization of highly competitive competitions in cooperation with the Chef’s Federation of Turkey, to which it is a sponsor, and other associations. Awards for the competitions were presented in a ceremony at the Eksper Gıda stand.
Eksper Gıda was the main sponsor of the event which took place on January 23-26, 2013 under the leadership of the Chef’s Federation of Turkey and the cooperation of the Antalya Union of Chefs Association and ANFAŞ. The Eksper stand, which was set up in the area where the Golden Chef’s Hat competitions took place, received a lot of attention from both the competition participants and from visitors. In the competition area of the organization a Chef Market was set up to provide professionals with Eksper Gıda products so that the contestants could find the products they needed to use in their preparations.
The Antalya Union of Chefs Association Chairman Fahir Telli pointed out that they place a lot of importance on activities like this that were organized for the purpose of contributing to the culinary arts and the chef profession and added that the interest in the fifth International Golden Chef’s Hat Competition organized in cooperation with the Chef’s Federation of Turkey had received significantly more attention than expected this year and thank Eksper Gıda for its contributions.
